if you're a fan of comics / comix / graphic novels, this place is an absolute must: Drawn & Quarterly has produced a lot of the most amazing and well-known cartoonist/writers like Adrian Tomine, Lynda Barry, Daniel Clowes, Charles Burns, Art Spiegelman, and Lisa Hanawalt. they've also got a really nice collection of non-comic books, but the draw – in addition, obv, to being located in chic montreal – is a sense that you're getting to peruse a well-curated selection of gorgeous, crazy, and cool graphic novels you might not find IRL otherwise
