Skylight Books (LA, CA)

a classic LA spot. a few things that make Skylight special include 1) being on Vermont Ave, an amazing spot for people watching / sunny day strolling / vintage shopping at nearby Squaresville or (a bit further away) browsing the endless shelves at tchotchke wonderland Wacko; 2) the section of Skylight specifically dedicated to art books and graphic novels (the size of a full storefront!); and 3) that it's also home to two book clubs, including one for fiction and one for nonfiction. i <3 indie bookstores that are also into building community!
