NOW CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG but Heather always felt, to me, from the Eileen Davidson school of "grounded Housewife who is maybe too normal to be here, but is really likable and therefore compelling to watch anyway" – a thin line, because many other normal housewives just become one-season wonders (Joyce from RHOBH, Kristen Taekman from RHONY) or are eventually spurned because they seem fake and/or judgey and/or everyone is just too jealous of them (Carole Radziwill).
A quick digression: I wanted to include Heather Gay from RHOSLC in my list of grounded/normal-but-weirdly-compelling school of Housewives (as in, the kind that includes Heather Thomson and Eileen Davidson), but Heather Gay is a whole other can of beans, which I'll need at least 15 minutes and/or one ESPECIALLY boring task to avoid in order to discern precisely what makes her specific genus of Housewife so particularly iconic.
ANYWAY, let us symbolically light a candle for the time Heather Thomson tried to help Sonja jump-start her "toaster oven" business (and ty @Sarah for reminding me to give this diva her fair dues)
