as a teen growing up in LA, Cinespia was THE place to go with friends on a saturday night – a summer screening series in the Hollywood Forever cemetery, where movie stars/musicians/directors like Judy Garland, Rudolph Valentino, DeeDee and Johnny Ramone, Cecil B. DeMille and the late, great LA food critic Jonathan Gold are buried. it's obviously not just for teens (and i imagine actually much more pleasant if you aren't a teenager, trying not to fall asleep watching Casablanca) and sometimes also members of the cast and crew come and say a little something to the crowd. just fabulous
